How to add the Harrow and District website to your phones home screen as an easy access icon

Android

1.   Open the Harrow and District website in Chrome (can try other internet browsers but chrome works best).

2.   Click on "3 vertical dots" top right of screen

3.   Towards the bottom of list click on "Add to home screen"

4.   At this point you can if you wish, but not necessary,  edit the name that will appear with the icon eg change to H&D

5.   Click "Add"

6.   Click "Add" again.

Done, now when you want to access the site just click the icon rather than going through your browser

Apple

As usual Apple restricts what you can do so to do this on apple you must use the Safari browser 

1.   Open the Harrow and District website in Safari.

2.   Click on the "square with an up arrow", top right of screen

3.   Click on "View more"

4.   Click on "Add to home screen"

5.   At this point you can if you wish, but not necessary,  edit the name that will appear with the icon eg change to H&D

6.   Click "Add"

Done, now when you want to access the site just click the icon rather than going through your browser
